Includes contemporary film clips of the Loyalist protests and interviews with the leaders at that time including Jim Smyth, Stan Orme, Gerry Fitt, John Laird, John Hume, Bob Pagel, and Brain Garrett.

The bombing of Dublin and Monaghan on 17 May 1974 is also discussed. Declassified official papers reveal for the first time what was happening behind the scenes.
