THE SERIES:

BRENDAN’S EPISODE:
- The new partnership of Lynley and Havers travels to the Yorkshire moors to investigate the beheading of farmer William Tey, found dead at the feet of his teenage daughter, who was covered in blood and is too traumatised to say what happened.
- Meanwhile, Lynley faces his own traumas: the woman he loves has just married his best friend, and at the same time his boss has decided to team him up with Barbara Havers, a woman police sergeant who has no time for good looking upper-class policemen.
