A contemporary film noir – a classic story of passion, betrayal and murder. A woman is in an unhappy marriage and takes a lover. The love triangle is transformed by the woman’s career.

Penny is a cancer researcher who routinely experiments on animals. She lives under the threat of political violence. Her farmer husband is feeling strained too, facing bankruptcy after the British beef crisis.

When she embarks on an affair, she’s caught between two very dangerous forces and by the end, one of the triangle will be culled.
