- Nominated for Best Picture, Actress in a Lead Role in Film for Deirdre O’Kane, and Actress in a Supporting Role in Film for Sarah Greene, by the 2015 Irish Film and Television Awards (Ifta).
- The film premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on 31 January 2014, where it earned an extra screening and won the Panavision Sprit Award for Independent Cinema. The award is given to a unique feature made outside of mainstream Hollywood.
- Awarded the Special Jury Prize at the Boston Irish Film Festival in March 2014, won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at the Dallas International Film Festival in April, 2014, earned the Audience Award for World Narrative Feature at the Nashville Film Festival in April, 2014.
- Won the Audience Award for Best Foreign Film at the Newport Beach Film Festival in May, 2014, awarded Audience Prize for Best Irish Feature at the Galway Film Fleadh on 13 July 14, earned the Best Foreign Film Audience Award at the San Diego Film Festival, and won the Audience Award at the British and Irish Film Season in Luxembourg.
